How did you like Eldest?
I liked it a lot! When I read it I had just finished the new Harry
Potter book and was looking for something good to read. The descriptions
were slightly long-winded at points in the book, but it was a very good
continuation of Eragon! I loved the parts where Eragon was training with
the elves and loved the ending (I'll be gracious and not detail it for those few
who haven't read it). All in all, it was a great book and I can't wait for
the next one!
After seeing the trailer, are you excited for the movie?
The movie seems really cool, but it doesn't seem like Eragon. It looks
like it will be a great movie but a horrible adaptation from a book. I
suppose most book-to-movie adaptations are. I'm still not over Lord of the
Rings or Goblet of fire. Even though both were amazing movies they didn't
do the books justice.
Which book did you like better, Eragon or Eldest?
Probably Eragon, simply because it introduced me to the world of Alagaesia.
Content-wise, Eldest is much better, but the world isn't new whereas in Eragon
the world is fresh.
Who do you think will ride the green dragon in the third book?
I doubt the character has been shown to us yet. Either that or they
haven't been very important to this point. If it ended up being one of the
main characters it would be far too obvious.
Who is your favorite character?
Saphira... most definitely. Very witty.
